ImageThere are many routes to health, peace and harmony. Many methods focus on just one aspect of being human, the emotional, the physical or the mental. It is unusual to find an approach that works with all of these aspects. This is why I call my method the Body Balance one-stop-shop for integrated mind, body and emotional health. This is a person-centred approach, meaning that you are accepted and learn to accept yourself as you are, right now. With acceptance comes the possibility of change and the chance to set out on your own voyage of self-discover.

I have drawn from a number of teaching and coaching techniques to help people reconnect their mind with their body, emotions and self (spirit). Body Balance offers a range of effective tools that include optimum nutrition education and holistic lifestyle support, and transformational coaching which draws on aspects of CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), TA (transactional analysis), ancient mysticism, eastern philosophies and healing and guided visualisations.

Body Balance has celebrated its fifth anniversary!


When I launched Body Balance in October 2004, my concept was a group weight management programme that tackled WHY people ate as well as WHAT they ate.

Oh how far I and the programme have come!


After five years continuing development and hundreds of clients later, I can honestly say that the Body Balance programme has evolved into a ‘one stop shop’ for Integrated Health.
It now has little to do with weight management and is much more about self-realisation through optimum physical, mental and emotional balance.

While people focus on the weight and eating habits as the main problem, I have found that if they can’t lose weight by eating sensibly and then keep it off, there are usually much deeper issues to be resolved. Eating and drinking inappropriately are often a way of avoiding facing uncomfortable feelings, such as low self worth, aloneness, emptiness, anger, sadness and anxiety.

How is Body Balance unique?‌


This one-stop-shop approach is different because it combines Optimum Nutrition for excellent physical health with Transformational Coaching to raise self-awareness and to create a strong sense of self-belief, inner peace and balance.

This really is a unique approach to mind, body and emotional health.

How can you benefit from the Body Balance experience‌?


Things are changing in 2010!

After twenty years experience as an Optimum Nutritionist and five years developing and running Body Balance, my intention is to make it easier for people everywhere to enjoy the Body Balance experience.

Up to now my home market has mainly been Brussels. I will still run some group programmes and have a small client base for individual coaching in Belgium.

From 2010 I am organising seminars and workshop retreats throughout the rest of Europe starting with the Cyprus workshop retreat in March, Jersey in May, Belgium in June and Cornwall in October.
